Who we are
3A MINING
We are an iron ore mining company focused on the production of high-grade Granulated Iron Ore (lump and small iron ore locally known as hematitinha) to provide differentiated and segmented service to customers in the domestic and international markets.
We have available areas with reserves that exceed 100 million tons, all located in the region of Corumbá, MS..
We have designed and developed our project based on the best ESG practices and concepts, and we have started operations in November 2022.
We have designed and developed our project based on the best ESG practices and concepts, and we have started operations in November 2022. Today, we have an installed capacity of 1.5 million tons of product per year, and there is already an ongoing expansion to double production in 2026, reaching 3 million tons per year.
OUR ORE
Essential raw material for the manufacture of steel
3A Iron Ore has a high Fe content and low level of contaminants.
Our extraction and two-stage production process, combined with permanent quality control, offers us the generation of products with homogeneous and constant physical and chemical characteristics.
The marketed products (Lump and Small Iron Ore locally known as hematitinha) have a very low level of fines and, as a consequence, they have low water absorption; thus, they provide maximum use in “blending” with other ores and in direct feeding of Blast Furnaces.
In addition, the low levels of phosphorus (P) and manganese (Mn) contained in the products are a differentiating factor for steel production.
Production Process
Understanding the 3A MINING process
Primary Processing (dry)
The finest fractions where contaminants are concentrated (for example: silica and alumina) are eliminated.
We do not use tailings dams and we maintain the uptake of new water at very reduced levels, thus ensuring our commitment to sustainability and respect for the environment.

Secondary Processing
Washing and classification of the product, significantly reduce the use of water in the process, most of which are reused through our excavated “Sump” system.
Our physical-chemical analysis laboratory
Our physical-chemical analysis laboratory is the best equipped in the region, using state-of-the-art equipment, performing wet and/or X-ray analyses in our quality control.
Our product shipping system is fully automated, with two road scales in permanent operation, minimizing product loading and shipping times, providing transporters with greater comfort, practicality and productivity.
